There are a few things I’m passionate about in life. Good cheese, that would be high on the list. My friends and family. A growing respect for the art of coffee making.

My greatest passion though, without question, is the Word of God. It is a love letter to us from Almighty, packed to the brim with relevant advice, stories, instructions and more. It is living and active, and constantly reveals more to us of God’s character and nature, and his unfailing love for us.

I hope that in some small way I can pass on that enthusiasm for the Bible, and help you to delve still more deeply into this treasure trove of goodness and wonder. That’s why I thought I would pass on some of the resources that I have written for various small groups I have had the privilege of leading over the years. I hope to expand this section of the website as time goes by, to give you new and exciting ideas for exploring the Bible together with those around you.

Alternatively, these studies can be worked through individually, so feel free to download, grab a cup of tea or coffee and a pen, and consider what God is saying to you through his word today.

If you’ve enjoyed these resources please do let me know, and consider purchasing my first Bible study book, No Mountain Immovable: How to Activate Your Faith. The proceeds from sales go toward this ministry, helping me to produce further materials in the future, so it’s a very real way of supporting me.

Thank you, and enjoy!

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
Matthew 6:9-13

You may be very familiar with this prayer. Perhaps you even know it by heart. It’s a model of prayer that Jesus himself gave to his disciples; a model we can continue to use today.

The danger with passages of scripture that are so familiar to us is that we can read them by rote, forgetting to delve deeply into what new insights we can glean from them. It’s easy to think we know all there is to know about something we have read and recited so very often.

In this five-week Bible study, we will dive into the Lord’s Prayer, to help us look at it with fresh eyes. These precious words of Jesus have the potential to revolutionise our prayers lives, if we will let them. Each week comes complete with questions, as well as a printable handout for participants to takeaway and complete after the session.

Download a zip file with all the sessions and handout files here, or find the individual PDFs below:

The Lord’s Prayer – four to one A4 sheet – can be printed out on nice card and cut up to give to each participant.

No Mountain Immovable: How to Activate Your Faith

I found the extensive study material at the end of each chapter especially helpful in getting the most out of this book. The study material is not simply a recap of what has just been read, but provides further and deeper insight. I would especially recommend this book for small groups to work through.

Leon Mileham, Senior Pastor at Connect Church Maidstone

You are in good company if you’ve ever desired more faith. ‘Increase our faith!’ the disciples cried to Jesus. His response was remarkable: faith as small as a mustard seed can uproot a tree. Faith as small as a mustard seed can move a mountain, no matter how immovable it seems. It may sound incredible, but you have all the faith you need for whatever life throws at you today.

No Mountain Immovable introduces us to the Heroes of Faith listed in the book of Hebrews. Why were these characters commended, recorded as examples for us, thousands of years after they lived and died? There is wisdom to glean from their lives; examples we can apply to keep our own small seeds of faith activated here and now.

With questions at the close of each chapter to work through as an individual or in a group, this book will help you delve more deeply into the exciting depths of faith.
