What a wonderful week in Cornwall we just enjoyed! It was great to spend some time with amazing friends in the sunshine, staying in a house right on the beach; we couldn’t have asked for a better break. It gave us a bit of time to unwind and process the changes coming up soon, as everything had been incredibly busy for the last few months.

On that note, it’s only two weeks until we start with MAF full time! Dave finishes with Garmin at the end of June, ready for our new adventure on the 3rd of July. It’s going to be a busy few weeks of training and induction, with some key things going on:

• Induction with MAF International, 3rd – 7th July
• All Nations cross-cultural training, 10th – 14th July
• Licence course for Dave, 17th – 21st July
• Visit to MAF UK, late July
• Initial look-see visit to Uganda, some time in August

Dave will also have another course to add bits and pieces to his licence between now and leaving which we’ll work in there somewhere, along with raising support and getting everything organised ready to leave in November / December this year!
