When You Don’t Know What You’re Doing
We landed in the UK on the 4th of November. That’s almost five months ago, if you can believe it. It feels as though I’m beyond the point where my answer to that frequent question, “What are you doing here, Becky?” should be better than, “I’m still figuring it out.” But here we are. This is a time that feels unsettled to both of us. We’re not quite sure what’s next, what the future looks like, after this initial year back on British soil. Will we live overseas again? Will we stay here for longer? Will we feel recovered
